How to Experience Freedom

Galatians 5:13

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 

1. Be Free in Jesus.

Galatians 5:1a

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free.

John 8:32

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

John 8:36

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

2 Corinthians 3:17

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 

Freedom in Jesus is:

Freedom from Satan.
Freedom from the domain of darkness.
Freedom from sin.
Freedom from temptation.
Freedom from guilt.
Freedom from shame.
Freedom from the law.
Freedom from the curse.
Freedom from death.
Freedom from hell. 

2. Be Free from Sin.

Galatians 5:13

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh 

Eternal Security of the Believer:

John 10:28

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 

Ecclesiastes 2:1

I will test myself with pleasure to find out what is good.But that also proved to be meaninglessness.

Laughter
Alcohol
Houses with Gardens and Pools
Servants
Herds and Flocks
Silver and Gold
Music
Sexual Immorality
Greatness

1 John 3:6

No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. 

3. Be Free to Love.

Galatians 5:13

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

Philippians 2:3
