The Women's Ministry of First Baptist Church of Powder Springs exists for the purpose of leading women to know Christ Jesus as their Lord by:

Basing their lives on the Word of God

Learning to pray effectively

Ministering to others

"Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands so that no one will malign the word of God." - Titus 2:3-5

Common Grounds - Fellowship for All Women

Our first Common Grounds event in April was such a joy. We had a sweet evening of fellowship, laughter and fun - not to mention all those great desserts!

If you would like to help support Cobb Pregnancy Services please bring a pair of newborn-sized socks
We will have registration available that evening for upcoming discipleship classes, the Living Proof Live Simulcast on September 18th and pre-orders for the Living Proof Live T-Shirts ($15 each - very cute hot pink color)

Wednesday morning discipleship classes - 9:00am-11:45am
Fall 2010 Semester (Aug 25th - Nov 17th)
- Here & Now - There & Then, a Beth Moore study on Revelation
- Covenant, a Precept study
- Galatians/Ephesians, from the New Inductive Study Series (NISS)
- Kick-off & Orientation for Fall Semester Wed., August 25th - 9am in CLC
- All classes meet upstairs in CLC - childcare provided for children up to pre-k

Cobb Pregnancy Services
- ongoing support led by our women's ministry
- annual church-wide baby shower every Mother's Day
